ABOUT US

MISSION STATEMENT

Countryside Nursery School is committed to providing an enriched educational experience where children can discover their unique abilities in an environment that nurtures creativity, exploration, and acceptance. We believe that when children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and share their ideas, they blossom in wonderful ways. Along the way, they build confidence, learn to navigate their feelings, and discover the joy of being curious, capable learners. Through a thoughtful balance of teacher-guided and child-led activities, we aim to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and future success.

At Countryside Nursery School, our goal is to inspire young minds with a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Since 1979, our mission has been to:

-Provide a happy, nurturing environment where your child feels safe and valued.
-Help children develop an appreciation for the world around them.
-Encourage self-expression through play, art, music, and drama.
-Create opportunities for joyful discovery that make learning fun and meaningful.
-Guide children in building positive social skills by learning to manage their emotions and show empathy toward others.

Starting at age 3, the world is open for discovery at Countryside Nursery School! Enroll your child in our preschool programs, where we provide a nurturing environment for school readiness. Your child can prepare for academic achievement and lifelong success here under the supervision of our experienced, degree-holding teachers. Countryside Nursery School is a proud member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. We use an integrated, age-appropriate curriculum that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your child will have ample interaction with peers and educators alike with the small class sizes that we maintain: 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio.

Through the experiences we provide, your child will discover that school and learning are rewarding and fun. Our programs include effective emergent literacy and math curricula, along with activities that focus on building leadership and communication skills. We also offer daily Spanish language lessons.

We welcome you to visit our facility to explore the large, secure outdoor play area equipped for active play and skill-building, as well as safe indoor spaces designed for learning and discovery. To schedule a tour, please contact:

OUR CLASSES

We offer a rich variety of activities that help your child grow, explore, and build new skills. A typical day at Countryside Nursery School includes hands-on experiences with a broad range of materials, as well as group time that nurtures communication and social connections. We believe that giving children the chance to share their ideas, solve problems, and explore creatively is essential for their individual growth. When children engage in active learning and meaningful experiences during their early childhood years, they develop self-awareness, build confidence, learn to manage their emotions, and make themselves known as learners.
